What is Citrea?
Citrea develops a Bitcoin application network using zero-knowledge rollup technology and an Ethereum-compatible execution environment. Its Clementine bridge connects Bitcoin with cBTC on Citrea. CTR is the project’s coordination and governance asset; it is distinct from cBTC and the ctUSD stablecoin. Applications, bridge security and token governance are separate parts of the ecosystem, each with its own assumptions.
