What is Katana?
Katana (KAT) is the token of Katana, an Ethereum layer-2 network focused on DeFi. KAT is not the network’s gas currency: transaction gas uses ETH. KAT by itself does not provide voting rights; the documented vKAT staking mechanism governs allocation of liquidity incentives, rather than general chain upgrades. This asset is separate from Kambria and its robotics projects, which were incorrectly described on this page.
