What is Fluid?
Fluid is a decentralized finance protocol developed by the Instadapp team. It brings lending, borrowing and decentralized trading together through a shared liquidity layer. Applications use that liquidity for lending markets, collateral vaults and swaps. FLUID is the protocol’s governance token, renamed from INST. Holding the token is distinct from depositing assets into a lending market or opening a collateralized borrowing position.

Why do older documents call the token INST?
Instadapp’s governance token was renamed FLUID as part of the protocol’s rebranding. The Ethereum token contract remained the same. Check the network and contract when matching older INST references to current FLUID markets.
