What is Quant?

Quant is a blockchain interoperability project that enables different blockchains and networks to communicate seamlessly through its Overledger technology. Founded by Gilbert Verdian, former CISO at Vocalink (a Mastercard company).

Overledger is the world's first blockchain operating system, allowing enterprises to build multi-chain applications (mApps) that work across multiple blockchains simultaneously without requiring changes to existing infrastructure.

QNT is required to use the Overledger platform. Enterprises must hold QNT to access the network, and developers need it to create and run mApps. The token acts as a gateway license for the ecosystem.

QNT Tokenomics

QNT has a very limited maximum supply of 14.6 million tokens. Annual licensing fees paid in QNT by enterprises are locked in a treasury, effectively reducing circulating supply as adoption grows.

QNT Historical Price Performance

QNT surged from its 2018 ICO price of $1.51 to $427 in September 2021, a 283x return. Its low supply and enterprise focus made it popular among long-term holders. The token maintains a strong following due to Quant's real-world enterprise partnerships.
