What is StakeStone?
StakeStone (STO) is the governance token of StakeStone, an omnichain liquidity protocol. Its documentation describes locking STO into veSTO for governance participation. STO is distinct from STONE, the protocol’s liquid-staking asset. The ticker does not mean that this token is a generic security token offering, an equity share or a debt claim; those properties cannot be inferred from the letters STO.
